The Stuart Highlanders Grade 2 Band is led by Pipe Major Adam Holdaway, Pipe Sergeant Kevin Wisehart and Drum Sergeant Scott Armit. The band is coming off its most successful competition season in grade 3 in 2009, winning second place at Maxville, first place in every US based contest, and sweeping every event of the 2009 Bethlehem Celtic Classic. At the conclusion of the 2009 season, the band was upgraded to Grade 2.

The Stuart Highlanders Grade 4 Band is led by Pipe Major Matt Phelps, Pipe Sergeant Paul Kissman, and Drum Sergeant Stewart Marshall. In 2009, the Grade 4 band improved on it’s 2008 performance, consistently getting in the prize lists for the majority of games. The Grade 4 band is not only a serious musical endeavor but it also is very active in training new musicians, fund raising, and recruiting.
